Besides the fact that my hand is much brighter than my face, I wanted to share some inspiration with you. I’m working on a project and I’ve gotten a few declines. I’ll be honest it has tampered with my thoughts on whether or not I’m suppose to move with it. It even tried to have conversations with me about my confidence and validity. Chiiiile Plz! Bye!! I texted drhollycarter and she was honest enough to share that “these things happen, but they don’t stop me”. I wanted to share that with you. Maybe things aren’t going how you wanted. Maybe it’s tampering with whether or not God really spoke to you about something. Maybe you’ve procrastinated and you’re finally picking things up saying “ok, let’s try it!” And then bam, here comes the “no”. Remember God’s “YES” overpowers it all. Keep moving! Everything, nor is everyone, out to hurt you. So, don’t take it all so personal. Sometimes God is rerouting us when we didn’t wait for his answer. So, yesterday was pretty funky, but today I’m smiling again; and it’s all because I sat w/ God! I gave him my heart and He reminded me that 1. I can’t have EVERYTHING 2. With HIM I have EVERYTHING!!!! Don’t get side tracked. Keep going! Take the no’s as “rerouters” (that’s not a word but we gone use it today) and keep it movin’! God is on your side! Delays don’t stop you from getting to your destination, they just cause adjustments in in the schedule; and very often God’s timing is not Our timing. 😊 Hence, IT’s GONNA still happen!!!! #kierrasDevotion #BigBoldAndBeautiful
