I used to think my sleep was "good enough"... I thought sleeping 6-7 hours and waking up "okay" meant my sleep was fine.

Now, into my 40s with three kids, multiple companies, and a really FULL life, I’m realizing that good quality sleep (and enough of it) is really important.

The10-3-2-1-0 Rule helped me pay attention to my sleep habits which in turn positively impacted them.

So, I want to share this idea with you!

Here is the concept behind the 10-3-2-1-0 Rule:
🕐 10 hours - Cut off all caffeine (yes, even that afternoon coffee can still be in your systemt at bedtime)
🕘 3 hours - Stopped eating and drinking before bed (no more late-night snacking)
🕙 2 hours - Shut down all work and stressful activities
🕚 1 hour - Screens off completely (this was the hardest one!)
🕛 0 - Zero snooze buttons the next morning (okay, no this was the hardest one 😉)

The results really surprised me:
My sleep actually became restorative instead of just "rest."
My energy was steady all day instead of crashing by 2 PM.
Less mid day headaches.
Those late-night cravings? Gone.

But here's what really surprised me - it wasn't just about sleep.

This rule fixed my hunger hormones, lowered my stress response, and kickstarted my metabolism in ways I never expected.

If you're dealing with:
Afternoon energy crashes
Late-night snacking you can't control
Hitting snooze 3+ times every morning
Feeling tired even after a full night's sleep

This might be the simple reset your body has been craving.

The science behind WHY each number matters is fascinating - how caffeine blocks detox pathways, why eating late turns off fat burning, how blue light destroys melatonin production, and why the snooze button is actually stressing your nervous system.
Let me know below if you're going to give this a try!!
