I love finding the places in Detroit that have a story hiding behind the door.

The the.stone.house.bar is one of them. This historic Detroit spot has been around for generations, with roots dating back to the 1800s and a Prohibition-era history that includes some seriously fascinating, and colorful, Detroit lore 👀

Now, after being closed for years, the Stone House is open again and starting its next chapter!

These are the kinds of places that make exploring Detroit so much fun. You can drive past them a hundred times without realizing just how much history is sitting inside.
