Happy World Parrot Day from some of the colorful personalities inside the Rainforest Pyramid! 🦜🌿

Did you know parrots can use tools in the wild, have specialized zygodactyl feet with two toes facing forward and two backward, and that nearly half of all parrot species are threatened or becoming extinct? These intelligent birds are as fascinating as they are beautiful, and today is the perfect day to celebrate them and the importance of protecting their rainforest habitats.

Join us today for special Keeper Chats at 10:30 AM in the Visitor Center and 2:30 PM at the Rainforest Pyramid Lily Pond! 🌎✨
