Gong hei fat choy! Happy Lunar New Year! 🐷🎊⁣
⁣
There are so many traditions around the Chinese New Year. One tradition is for every family to thoroughly clean their house, in order to sweep away any ill-fortune and to make way for incoming good luck. I remember getting red envelopes full of money from our parents and grandparents and it is considered to be “lucky money.” ⁣
⁣
I’d like to travel to China during the New Year to experience all the traditional celebrations. ⁣
