BEST TIPS FOR ACL FEST 🥳🎶 ⬇️

☔️ Zilker is currently wet and muddy, so I recommend wearing whatever shoes you won’t mind getting filthy 👀 Avoid cowboy boots unless you’re prepared for blisters.

✨Use the Ladybird side entrance for a quicker entry (get dropped off near the mopac pedestrian bridge)

✨There’s no parking available (unless you use a parking garage downtown), so plan to take a rideshare or scooter or the shuttle that picks up at Republic Square Park🚘

✨Screenshot the ACL lineup set times & make it your Lock Screen🤳🏽

✨Any bag that’s not a small fanny pack, purse, or camelbak must be CLEAR🎒 For small bags, they aren’t super strict.

✨Hand sanitizer & tissues will save you after using the port-o-potties🧴

✨”The flags” is not a good meeting spot to find your friends — there are two sets of them & they get packed af

✨If you want a closer spot for a set, prepare to head over at least 30 min before⏱ Try to stand in front of the sound booth gates.

✨ the LEFT SIDE of each stage is the best for both a better view & less foot traffic (& an easier escape route)

✨Bring a collapsable step stool if you’re v short & want a better view

✨Drink earlier & take all port-o-potty trips before sunset

✨If you want good pics with less people in them, get to the fest before 3pm 📸

✨Bring a camelbak or a small collapsible water bottle to keep you hydrated

✨Avoid leaving your phone in your pocket to prevent theft📱 even if it’s in your front pocket, they can easily take it.

✨Head to the giant craft beer tent to cool down with giant mister fans🥵

✨BRING A KOOZIE FOR DRINKS!!💯

✨Here’s what’s in my fanny pack:

Just know that once you’re at the fest it’s pretty much “May the odds ever be in your favor” lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ just do your best to stay with your group, stay fed & hydrated, & don’t stress if not everything goes according to plan (it’s natural)! ✌🏽
