LAST QUICK TIPS & THINGS TO NOTE FOR SXSW⬇️

💥 wear your most comfortable shoes because you will be walking all over the central city

💥 you can absolutely “do sxsw” completely free. Just walk around the downtown area or east 6th and follow where you hear good music

💥 hydrate!! 💧all the free drinks can sneak up on you and suddenly you have to tap out early because you’re wasted

💥 organize your RSVPs or events you wanna do by each day in a separate folder

💥 just expect some things will go wrong or you won’t get to do everything you wanted—it’s ok

💥 don’t sleep on new artists just because you haven’t heard of them before; many famous musicians have blown up right after sxsw

💥 you’re gonna be given a lot of free sh*t and swag — some kind of bag would help

💥 don’t be afraid to go solo — you’re way more likely to get into shows & see more stuff anyway—plus you will meet SO many new cool people

💥 expect rideshare prices to be insane during peak times like noon-2pm, 5-7pm & 11pm-2am 🚘

💥 don’t drive downtown; it is hell on earth getting in or out of there — swipe for map of road closures

💥 weather is crazy; wear layers🥶🥵

💥 PORTABLE👏🏽BATTERY👏🏽CHARGER👏🏽

💥 pro tip for no hangover: electrolyte packets — take one before & after the day

💥 if you have Twitter, now is the time to utilize it for surprise events & appearances👀

💥 carry cash to tip the bartenders or just in case need it 💵

💥 for official events, bring a recent negative c*vid test or your vax card

💥 assume some things will not go how you planned; just flow with the chaos 🤘🏽

If you see me out there, say hi! 👋🏽😋
