Because here’s what you need to know: a real Moscato d’Asti DOCG is a *very* different experience.

It’s lower alcohol, lightly sparkling (not fully bubbly), and really fresh. You get stone fruit and orange blossom notes, but it’s balanced and not syrupy or cloying. 

The DOCG stamp means it’s from a tightly defined zone in Piedmont, made from 100% Moscato under strict production rules around yields, ripeness and fermentation.
