4 events in 10 days. What did I learn? People are craving connection.

Last week, I sat alongside other Dallas women in business for a panel discussion — my first in person speaking engagement since the world hit pause. I won’t lie... it felt like a mix of déjà vu and brand new territory. Like muscle memory meeting fresh nerves. 😂😩😵‍💫🥹 

But as soon as I took a breath and locked eyes with women nodding along in the audience, I knew: This wasn’t just a panel. It was a room full of stories, of lived experience, of women who were showing up, for themselves and for each other. 

The conversations? Rich and wide-ranging. We unpacked everything from survival mode and self-care, to redefining success, to what it really means to balance when the world around you doesn’t make it easy.

Other events I attended this month included a small business mixer and a conference, and while each one left me with something valuable, these last 10 days brought a much bigger reminder:

We don’t just want relatable — we need it.

We don’t want surface — we want soul.

And we don’t need more hustle — we need more harmony.

This current season of my life? It’s showing me — daily — that the most impactful thing I can do is show up as I am: Clear, grounded, and unfiltered.

To the women who shared space on that panel  and to the ones I’ve crossed paths with this month: THANK YOU. For the energy. The honesty. The heart. You have no idea what it’s done for me…but I plan to show you.
