## Caption

What do you call a bumpdate when the baby is 4 months old? But the size of a 8 month old? 😂 Yes, it’s true. Just ask my back. And the doctors office, that weighed him on Friday. Wow. Time is flying. A few snippets into #momlife the past couple of weeks: 

-Tummy time is fun, but sometimes you wanna lay on mom. 
-Applying hair serum on my scalp. Not pictured: postpartum shedding. O.M.G.
-Pre bedtime routine chatter with deep eye contact. 
-A pretty iced coffee made me feel pretty.
-B chillin while his mom + dad enjoyed spritzes on the patio. 
-Finding a quiet place to work for the last two hours of the day when bottles are half off and near the same price of a single glass. Cork the rest and take it home!

Every day brings a new perspective and a new appreciation for this assignment. I have had some beautiful moments, some so overwhelming that they took my breath away and simply, made me say “Thank you.” I‘ve had some challenging moments, too-moments where I have questioned my worth and ability and felt so defeated I wondered what I was gonna do. Sometimes the days feel like they’re on a loop, others not so much. Taking it all in stride, though. How can I not? He’s the most precious and curious thing and he changes every day. No exaggeration. ❤️ Next week I go on my first work trip and time away from home! Baby and I have been apart before but he was at his grammie’s house. A new milestone to get through - we got this! 🙏🏾
