I was feelin myself 😆 Today was the first day I got out of the house in a while. The weather had me down, but I was also so tired and burnt out after the last couple of weeks. I needed the rest! Here’s the latest over here: 🪹 The nesting period is REAL! I can’t even deny it. And it’s gone beyond the nursery. With bursts of energy, I’ve gone through closets and cabinets galore, not thinking twice before I get rid of something. B + Rudy don’t know what to do with me. 🤣The donation runs have been plentiful. I have two spaces to raid still…we’ll try this weekend. 🤰🏾Baby has surpassed my very own birth weight, which was 6 lbs, 13 oz. So, I’m taking bets on what the final weigh in is! ‼️I thought I had wide + swollen feet before but this is next level! I officially can’t wear shoes, not even sneakers 🤣 Soccer slides with socks are the biz. Rings do not fit…except I was able to slide a band on my ring finger in the frigid cold that is #Dallaska. My blood pressure is normal and I’m having no other symptoms, so it’s purely just being at the end of the road. 🫐 My gestational diabetes has been in check and I’m taking my glucose a few times a day. The one fruit I can’t shake are blueberries. I’m craving them all of the time, but I’m having them in moderation. 👩🏾‍⚕️My docs have said I’ll deliver a week early for a while, but we’re now at the range of 38-39 weeks. 👀 I’ll know more after tomorrow’s appointment but we’re near the end, fam! 😳 And with that, the part I have been dreading is almost here: Birth. I am terrified of the unknown of it, have been ever since I learned where babies come from. I’ve asked the questions, read the books, you name it. But, I’ve been reminding myself that so many have come before me and have done this. That that’s how I got here, and the sweetest reward awaits at the end. Thank you for all of the encouragement, excitement, recommendations and support these past few months.
