Y’all, the Simply Italian Great Wines Tour made its way to Dallas and it was a wonderful day of wine! 🍷 The experience was at eatalydallas and kicked off with three master classes + guided tastings, led by the amazing dobianchi exploring wines from consorzio.astidocg, dellevenezie and vinidabruzzo. Later in the day there was a walk-around tasting experience with numerous Italian producers. Plus, I had the chance to meet some friends in wine in person! Truly a day to remember.

Don’t worry, I’ll be highlighting each masterclass soon but I couldn’t wait to share some of the goodness now.

And I don’t like to play favorites, but here are mine from each class:
▪️Malgrà Asti D.O.C.G.
▪️Cantine Borga Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie D.O.C
▪️Ettore Galasso Montepulciano D’Abruzzo

My ‘rating’ is based on versatility. They ALL were outstanding, but I’d enjoy these particular wines simply on their own or as great complement to food. I’m thinking Thai, lobster rolls, bread pudding and braised short ribs.
