Throwing it back to the dopest office of all time. 🙌🏾 👩🏾‍💻 Sorry, I’m claiming it, especially since I did it with just 70 square feet for oneroomchallenge! Giving your workspace a revamp this year?! People often ask me for advice + I always say these things:

▪️VISION BOARD + MOOD — You want it to be a place that you look forward to coming to every day to get shit done. So, what do you need to make that happen? For me, it was creating a space that made it hard to leave. So, I added a cozy armchair, vibrant greenery and plenty of eye catching artwork and imagery. I printed photos at Walgreens from the app so it was easy (and safe) as pie.

▪️SHOP YOUR HOUSE — Do you love accents from your living room? MOVE EM! Shop around your house for baskets, trinket dishes, pictures/frames, and even plants.  Those beloved items will feel fresh and new without the price tag.

▪️HAVE A SIGNATURE SCENT — Spritz some room spray or burn a special candle when you’re in there. It’ll make it an extra special experience and add a little ambiance to the space. ▪️MAKE STORAGE LOOK GOOD — You’ll be more productive if you have everything you need within arms (or a few steps) reach. For me, I had my photography equipment, props, office supplies, notebooks, headphones, etcetera all within sleek cabinets with wicker baskets. I also included a beverage cart so I could go from coffee/water to wine with ease (sorry, no good idea happened over a glass of water).

▪️CONTINUE TO ADD TO IT…OR SUBTRACT. — Over time once you’re getting your groove, you’re going to make adjustments to the decor and placement of furniture — and THAT’S OKAY! Lean into it and walk away from the idea that it’s gotta be perfect or one way for you to enjoy it.
