I’m taking a pause and raising a glass to a really great month, and really great experiences with really great people! Whew, it’s been crazy and I deserve this. 😎 What’s in the glass? One of my summer favs: gin & tonic! This one is extra special because the gin is by jjpfisterdistilling, based in Sacramento. While they have a tasting room in Rancho Cordova, you can pick up their spirits at your local nuggetmarkets, Total Wine, and Raleys. I visited the distillery a few months back and learning their distilling process made me appreciate the smoothness of gin even more. Click the link in my bio if you missed it before!

Pro Tip: G&T’s are rumored to ward off mosquitos, so when you’re thinking of your backyard bbq cocktail menu, don’t forget these!

Not a pro tip but personal note: This is a corner of my house I hadn’t sat in until  christinabestphotography came over. I love how it looks out to the entire living room, perfect for a people watching guest at my summer housewarming party. Until then, bottoms up, and now wheels up because I’m going to VEGAS, BABY! 🎉
