Grinning BIG over here because theblogbloc celebrated two years of bringing bloggers, influencers, creatives and entrepreneurs together for community, education and collaboration! In many ways I feel like it just started and in others, like I’ve always been doing this. 26 official events. 97 active members. Paid and generous in kind opportunities for over 50 influencers in town on repeat. It’s an awesome feeling to know that TBB has impacted the lives of so many and year THREE is about to bring the HEAT! If you’ve been wanting to know more, follow us on IG. With any passion project turned business, it takes a lot to make it happen and you have to have a thick skin. I’ve learned a lot about myself as the leader of TBB and those who have been part of the Bloc have been my greatest teachers. If I can offer any advice to those who are currently serving or feel a call to serve a community, it’s that as a leader, it is important to take feedback and relinquish control of things that aren’t in your zone of genius. Never stop practicing gratitude. People don’t have to show up. Always take a minute at an event to just observe. Seeing the magic is just as important as schlepping the ice. It’ll be the fuel you need on those long nights burning the midnight oil. Lean into other leaders. We are stronger together. ❤️ I have so much more I could say...for now, it’s just T H A N K  Y O U for supporting my dream. I’m so excited for the future.
