There’s something so special about letting our kids freeze a tiny piece of who they are right now 🥹 Before the first day of school, have them fill out a little time capsule with things like their age, favorite food, favorite song, favorite movie, what they’re excited about and how they’re feeling about the year ahead. Then, on the last day of school, open it together and see what changed. Maybe they’re taller, their favorite food has changed, they have a new favorite song or they feel completely different about school than they did that morning. It’s such a simple tradition, but I love that it gives you a little snapshot of this version of them before another year flies by. 🤍 Follow along for more back to school traditions, simple ideas & seasonal moments to make with your kids #BackToSchoolTraditions #BackToSchoolIdeas #MomTraditions #ChildhoodMemories #MotherhoodMoments back to school traditions, back to school ideas for kids, first day of school tradition, time capsule for kids, back to school activities, childhood traditions, family traditions, first day of school ideas
