Here’s the behind the scenes & diy of how I decorated the front of my house for Valentine’s Day.
I went with a romantic & minimalist like theme, and it turned out so cute. I repurposed 2 of my light up birch trees from my Christmas display, because they can be used year round. I added in heart ornaments and filed in the planter with valentines garlands from dollar tree. The other trees i used valentines picks and taped those to small balloons and created a topiary like look to those. I added my queen of hearts framed wreath to the door and added my LOVE pillows to the chairs. Put my red pitcher with light up sticks and put wood valentines stickers in the sticks. I used rocks inside the pitcher to weight it down and keep the branches in place. Then put some vase filler on top of that so you can’t see the rocks. I got a set of plastic hanging hearts from Amazon that I hung on my windows and in my big front tree…and my lanterns I used fishing wire to hang ornaments inside to give it a floating heart look.

For the arch, we decided to keep our up year round because I decorate now for most holidays and it makes it easy, and it’s not really noticeable when it’s bare. We got two 33 foot valentines garlands from Amazon and attached them with trash bag twisty ties (I keep those anytime we buy something of from kids toys, they’re handy for many needs).
