What’s cooking? Conversations, Cutting Chai and Samosa Sandwich - that’s a cosy picture of a weekend evening, slow yet so comforting 🧡 So glad I got to frame this vibe, my heart does say Wah Taj #ad
.
I know I have said this enough number of times already, but the process of making chai is actually magical for me ✨The freshly crushed cardamom and ginger always brings in the chai magic 💯 and that gorgeous aroma from Taj Mahal tea leaves, brewed to perfection, feels good - always 🥰
.
Quick sandwich recipe ⬇️ Best paired with a cup of chai and good company ☺️

Recipe instructions
🔅In a pan, heat oil - add a fat pinch of cumin seeds, let sizzle - followed by a pinch of heeng, stir for a few seconds. Add chopped onions, let cook until translucent, add boiled and mashed potatoes + salt, coriander powder, turmeric, raw mango powder, lemon juice, a little bit water for everything to come together. Add roasted cashews + soaked raisins, cook masala on medium heat until well combined, finish with cilantro.
.
🔅Spread tamarind chutney and coriander chutney on two slices of bread, spread potato masala, top up with diced tomato and toast sandwich until golden from both sides. Slit into half, finish with dollop of chutneys and a sprinkle of sev.
