A Wah Taj moment is an emotion when it comes to chai, a cup of chai is not just a drink but it’s a feeling that we all relish ✨ Be it a tiring day at work or gup shup party with friends and family - chai always does the magic and makes things right 🥳
.
What’s cooking? Kesar Adrak Chai, the perfect cup of chai that one deserves 🙃Happiness is when you believe in a brand for years and then one day partner with it to create something you love, this one’s purely for my soul #chailove 🥰 #ad #collaboration Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tajmahaltea_northamerica 🧡
.
.
Ingredients
Serves 2
1 1/2 cup water
3-4 crushed cardamom pods
10-12 saffron strings
1/2 inch ginger, smashed or minced
A little more than 2 tsp Brooke Bond Taj Mahal (Loose Leaf Black Tea)
3/4 cup milk
Sugar to taste
.
Instructions
☕️ Add water to a pot, let water heat up until it begins to bubble - add crushed cardamom pods, saffron strings and freshly minced/smashed ginger, let it boil for a few seconds until water begins to turn golden.
.
☕️ Add tea leaves and let it boil for 30-40 seconds - add milk along with sugar (I like my chai nice and strong without a sweetener but if you want to go with sugar this is when you add it to taste) stir with a spoon and allow flavors to marry.
.
☕️ Bring to a boil, a lot of people prefer a double boil but I like mine three times boil - place a strainer on a cup to sieve your chai, finish with a garnish of saffron and ready to sip.
