It’s predicted to Snow in Texas this week, the reason I am mentioning this here is that it’s not something we get to see often so am definitely excited to experience some snow feels on Thursday 😬
.
Which also means we might be in a mood for some good food, MIGHT! And Air Fried Aloo Tikkis to build our own BURGER at home could be make a good dinner 🍔 These tikkis are made with a handful of ingredients, step by step recipe and full ingredients ⤵️
.
.
Ingredients
2 cups mashed boiled potatoes
1/3 cup finely chopped onions
5-6 green chillies chopped or as to taste
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tsp each salt, coriander powder, chaat masala
1/2 tsp each red chilli powder, black pepper, cumin power
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tbsp corn flour
Chopped cilantro
.
.
🍔 Add all the ingredients of the tikki to a bowl and combine until smooth, apply few drops of oil on palms and scoop batter from the bowl - begin to roll to shape into patties - not too thin not too thick
🍔Spray oil in the basket of a Pre heated air fryer - place patties at equal distance - top up with little more oil - air fry for 15 mins @ 400F
🍔 Use buns of choice, layer bed of greens, sliced tomatoes, onions rings, pinch of chaat masala - shredded mozzarella or a slice of cheese (optional) place tikki, press the burger to close.
