What’s cooking? Aloo Chana Jalfrezi 🥰 Happy to have tried out these jars of simmer sauces from mayakaimalfoods These certainly can secure a place in the pantry, quite easy and delicious to put together a weekday meal. The feels of a restaurant like meal served hot at home #sponsored

You can totally play around with veggies of choice depending on the sauce you’re using, I went for this combo of Potatoes & Chickpeas which came out quiet a bomb mat h! Simple recipe to follow, steps and ingredients ⬇️

Ingredients 
Oil, cumin seeds, dry red & green chillies (for heat)
Diced potatoes, bell peppers and a can of chickpeas
Jar of Jalfrezi curry from mayakaimalfoods

In a pan add oil, once warm add a small pinch of cumin seeds, dry red chillies & sliced green chillies (optional) - let sizzle. Toss in diced potatoes + a pinch of salt & let cook until tender, about 4-5 mins. Add in boiled chickpeas, diced red and green bell peppers along with mayakaimalfoods jalfrezi curry. Add a little water if desired to adjust consistency to taste. Bring it to a simmer, cover the pot & let cook on low heat for 10 mins for flavors to marry. That’s about it, ready to pair with rice/naan/roti.
