For me there’s one star ingredient that I can never leave out ⬇️ Add a spark to your this weeks menu with this pretty pink bowl of raita, adds such a comforting cooling vibe to your meals in this hot weather 😬 Perfect to relish with pulao, biryani or simply on the side with roti sabzi 💕

What’s cooking? Beetroot Raita 💖 I don’t use boiled or cooked beetroot for my raita recipe since I like the crunch of it in every bite 💗There’s something pleasing about enjoying the process of shredding that raw beetroot for that gorgeous natural pink on your hands 🥰 Is there anyone who would touch their cheeks with those pink hands to see if it works as a natural blush? Well I certainly have 😉

Ingredients 
1 cup thick yogurt 
Water as per desired to adjust consistency 
1/2 cup shredded beetroot 
1/2 tsp sugar (optional) 
*1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder (star ingredient)
Salt to taste

Recipe
In a bowl whisk yogurt until smooth, add water to adjust consistency, ensure there are no lumps- add shredded beetroot, salt, roasted cumin powder, sugar and stir well. Finish with cilantro, a sprinkle of boondi & red chilli powder if you desire 💗
