What not to miss when in the Indian grocery store? 🤔 what are your favourites? Comment ⬇️ Sharing a few sections that I don’t miss visiting and items from these aisles will be mostly found just incase you’re looking inside my pantry 😈 Read ⬇️
.
.
Frozen Veggies are such a saviour when you’re actually out of time to chop veggies plus a great way to sneak in a handful to soup, patties, cutlets, rice, vermicelli, poha or whatever you feel like 💗But the quality matters, my go to are deepindiankitchen vadilalusa 💚
.
Frozen chapatti - kawanusa offers a great variety of roti/parantha and it’s by far the best I’ve had, just feels like home 💗
.
Pickles - pataksusa pickles are loveee, mango is a forever favourite. Have you tried tomato & gongura pickle from telugu_foods ? Oh my pure Yumminess 😋
.
Weekend Treats - these are the pastry sheets I use for my aloo puffs & recently happened to try Himalayan frozen momos on a friends recommendation, they’re by far the best frozen ones I’ve had - better than TJ’s 🤭
.
Snacks - Love having some in stock for instant chai scenes be it with friends or family or just me 🤪 A quick air fry to tikki, pakoda & samosa or tossing Bhagwati muthiya on stove top #snackinggoals 🤤
.
Instant mix - MTR & GITZ Idli, Dhokla mix works well for instant food or snack fix, one of my all time pantry staples. If you’re in the zone of major restaurant food cravings or lazy to cook a full meal, this is great 😭
.
Goodness - Neem, Karela, morninga powder or Chavanprash, we always restock on these immunity boosting items 😇
.
Biscuit & Namkeen - hubs is a fan of this section, whenever in the grocery store he happily owns shopping items from these aisles. Recently happened to try a range of peanuts and chana from jabsonsfoods and so impressed with the flavors and variety they offer, so hooked to peanuts 😍
