What’s cooking? White sauce pasta - I call this the desi white sauce, mixed with fettuccine + veggies for goodness & colours 🌈 Made this pasta last week for our Friday night dinner and paired it with some wine + movie (which came out boring so we ended up watching random videos on YouTube 😆) If you ask me to pick between white and red sauce pasta I prefer red sauce ( same choice for wine 🍷❤️) But his preference is white so I made this after a really long time and also shared some with my neighbors 🥰 I haven’t cream and cheese in this one but feel free to add as per choice. Quick recipe + ingredients ⬇️

*Veggies and pasta - In a pan add oil/butter - once hot add minced garlic, let it turn golden and add sliced onions, sauté for 30 seconds add broccoli, sliced carrot, zucchini (veggies of choice) sauté for a min or so to retain the crunch of veggies - add boiled corn, salt pepper oregano, chilli flakes to taste - mix well and add boiled fettuccine pasta (or pasta of choice, I used barilla fettuccine 1/2 pack), toss with veggies. *Prepare Sauce : In a pan take 2 tbsp butter let it melt and add 2 tbsp all purpose flour, mix well until it starts turning light golden but not brown, stirring continuously takes about a minute- add 1 1/2 cup milk and whisk whisk whisk to ensure no lumps - keep it on simmer until it thickens, keep stirring (optional to add cream/cheese) add seasonings of choice - chilli flakes, oregano, dry herbs or parsley, salt, pepper, mix - keep it on simmer for a minute. Add pasta & veggies to this sauce, toss well and ready. Serve hot!
