⚠️ TW: Violence and Torture

The Gravedigger, code-name for an eyewitness to mass graves in Syria, recounted a disturbing memory during his testimony before the U.S. Senate on June 8.

🗣 His testimony was translated into English by Mouaz Moustafa, executive director of SETF, during the hearing. 

His testimony has been used in legal cases prosecuting war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Assad regime since the start of the Syrian war in 2011.
