## Caption

My mother grew up attending segregated schools.

Just one generation later she's watching as her daughter gets elected to the United States Congress.

Mother’s Day is a time for meaningful reflection and showing appreciation for our moms that set us up for success & keep us going.

Amid this ongoing pandemic, women, and especially mothers, have been disproportionately impacted by our changing economy.

As the Supreme Court barrels toward an assault on our reproductive rights, we must never forget: motherhood can be a gift, but it should always be a choice.
