Why does publishing surgical complication rates matter?

I recently published a study examining 142 consecutive deep plane facelift patients treated under local anesthesia in my own practice.

While published research provides valuable insight into surgical safety, complication rates can vary from surgeon to surgeon and technique to technique.

After spending the past decade developing and refining my approach to performing full deep plane facelifts under local anesthesia, I am proud to contribute my own clinical data to the medical literature.

Transparency, patient safety, and advancing the specialty are at the heart of this research.
