There’s been a lot of buzz around Bunnie, Jelly Roll’s wife, having a facelift at 46… and a lot of concern about what that means for filler.

Let’s clear this up.

Most people using filler have nothing to worry about. A syringe here or there, even a couple over time, is not going to push you into needing a facelift early.

The issue comes with overfilling.

When patients have had 20+ syringes over the years, that’s when we start to see problems like chronic puffiness, lymphatic congestion, and filler that doesn’t fully dissolve. At that point, the face can start to look heavy and distorted rather than refreshed.

A facelift can restore structure, rebalance volume, and in some cases even remove excess filler that’s been sitting there for years.

The takeaway: it’s not filler itself. It’s how much, how often, and how it’s used.
