Marking for a deep plane face and neck lift is where precision meets artistry.

Every line you see here has a purpose. Incisions are carefully hidden within the temporal hair tuft, tucked into natural creases in front of and behind the ear, and placed high in the hairline where they’re virtually undetectable. Nothing is random. Everything is intentional.

Underneath the skin, the real work begins. This patient has additional ligamentous attachments that contribute to heaviness and restriction, so those will be released to allow the tissue to move naturally upward again.

We’re also addressing volume loss in the buccal space with fat grafting, and those platysmal bands you see marked will be tightened through a tiny, well-hidden incision under the chin to recreate a strong, defined neck contour.

This is how we build a result that looks effortless… because it’s structurally correct.

Dr. Novis is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Patients travel from across the country for her signature CURRENT Lift technique.
