Why Most Surgeons Do Not Offer Deep Plane Facelifts Under Local Anesthesia
Most surgeons weren’t trained to do it this way and rely on the traditional model of sedation or general anesthesia. It’s also more technically demanding to perform under local, but the benefits for patients are significant.

Dr. Novis is a double board-certified, female facial plastic surgeon based in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Known for her expert technique and thoughtful approach, patients travel from across the country to see her for facial rejuvenation.

Why patients choose Dr. Novis for their facelift and necklift:
- No need for general anesthesia - oral sedation with local anesthesia
- A full deep-plane lift with permanent results
- No drain tubes
- Reduced bruising and faster recovery
- Dr. Novis is a double board certified, female facial plastic surgeon and a facelift and necklift expert
