In expanding the brand for tcnjlions we created a custom typography lockup for something they simply didn't have in their current marks - Their mascot name.

This direction came out of the need for something a little less stagnant and the need for something a little more fun and retro...."Inspired by an old letterman jacket now displayed in the Hall of Champions, the new script Lions wordmark is a spirit brand asset that plays a supporting role in the bland platform as a unique mark and visual complement to our existing typography. It depicts our nickname and provides a fresh addition to our classic TCNJ lettermark."
