We need to talk about….

😅😅😅

Contentment.

I heard this in church on Sunday at vouschurch and it’s solidified everything that God has been speaking to me this year: you either rule your appetite or your appetite will rule you. 

You will never have enough if you allow your appetite to to take control. And no I’m not talking about actual food.

I struggle with contentment in:

👉 Where I am in life. 
👉 What job I have.
👉 How much money I have.

The list goes on. 

But lately God has truly shifted my focus to be on:

👉 the dreams that I’m currently living out that I once prayed for. 
👉 the things I have that others wish they did 
👉 the good & consistent things I have that I take for granted

There are many miracles I experience on a daily basis that I allow to get overshadowed by my appetite for more. 

It’s a grind finding that balance between ambition and contentment but it’s worth the fight. 

And the only fight I’m in is fighting to trust God more and lean on God more because my life may be a mystery to me but it’s not to Him.

🫶 I have enough
🫶 & I’m so thankful God is MORE than enough

If He did it before He can do it again but in the meantime take inventory of your miracles and find joy in the gift of the present ✨
