Last Saturday, central city of #Cheongju, South Korea was flooded when a nearby river overflowed due to rising water levels caused by heavy precipitation.⁣
⁣
Nationally, 49 people have been reported dead or missing as of yesterday morning due to recent downpours, and thousands and thousands of people had to evacuate.
⁣
We don't need yet another climate emergency to be reminded of the fact that every human being has fundamental rights including safety. We must hold governments and big oil corporations accountable and stop this climate crisis madness once and for all.
