I hate my arm in this picture.

When the photographer sent this to me I was like “ughh, damnit! Why was I pressing my arm like that 😑.” The first thing my eyes did were find a flaw, insult myself, and then immediately write this off as a ‘bad picture of me.’ (Who else has done this before? 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏿‍♂️)

My arms are always something I’ve been insecure of... I fear they’ll look “too big”, “too muscular,” or “make me look ‘fat.’” But the only way I’ll stop caring about this stuff is if I STOP LETTING IT GET TO ME!!! I am sick and tired of shaming myself for my appearance!! I am posting this picture for the world to see so that I can keep REMINDING myself, PUSHING myself, and FORCING myself to not base my happiness or self-love on my appearance!!! Comment a “🙌🏼” if you are going to start reminding yourself of this too!
