As an NGO operating in multiple countries and headquartered in the USA, it’s critical for us to leverage local wisdom and expertise to guide our initiatives as much as possible. 

While Burkina Faso and Malawi have many ‘macro’ characteristics in common, there is extensive local cultural, economic, political and social nuance that drives how our programs work differently in each country.

That’s why we have assembled a local Board of Trustees in both countries, and today we’d like to introduce you to some of our board members in Burkina Faso! 

Our six member Board of Trustees meets quarterly and helps advise us on how our programs can be as efficient, impactful, and sustainable as possible. 

We are fortunate and proud to work with high-impact leaders who have such a wealth of experience working in the country, and who share The Sonder Project’s vision for sustainable development.
