## Caption

It was a hot one out on the track that day.  I took a thermometer reading on the track temperature and it was 145 F / 62.7C 🔥  Chari Hawkins, heptahlete , attempts to cool down during the javelin event. They did eventually postpone the meet until later that evening. 2021 USATF Olympic Trials, Hayward Field.

That temp was the actual temp of the track. I put the thermometer on the track.  The air temp was around 108+
