The North Canyon District, as it’s officially known, is just the first phase of a major expansion at the Oregon state park outside of Silverton. And after only a week, it’s already proving to be a popular destination.

Featuring a new hiking trail and a new viewpoint over North Falls, the area also boasts a sizable parking lot with a restroom, a picnic area and a series of outdoor play areas built into the lush forest environment.
