From 1964 until the mid-1990s, Prop Plaza, also known as Hollywood Terrace, primarily functioned as an operational area during busy holidays or peak periods. Positioned as a captivating midpoint along the Glamor-Tram (Studio Tour) guided tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, this spot offered visitors an up-close encounter with famous film props, including the giant-sized telephone and books featured in "The Incredible Shrinking Man" and the "Land of the Giants" television series. Both youngsters and parents derived immense pleasure from observing children having fun in this section of the tour, while the Plaza itself provided an opportunity to stretch one's legs and imagination, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a blend between Alice's Wonderland and Peter Pan's Never-Never Land.

Among the picturesque attractions found within Prop Plaza was a beautiful cascading waterfall. Although the falls were authentic, some palm trees displayed on the tour were skillfully crafted using plaster at Universal's prop shop.

One of the most popular features at Prop Plaza was the lively Wells Fargo Express stagecoach, set against a backdrop of moving scenery. This particular spot appealed to visitors interested in capturing simulated movie sequences or stop-action scenes through photography. The scene depicted children aboard the overland stage, possibly en route to "Dodge" the role of Marshal Wyatt Earp, guarding the stagecoach as the shotgun rider.
