📢 Shortcomings, starring Justin H. Min, Ally Maki, and Sherry Cola, is finally here this Friday! The comedy-drama film, adapted from Adrian Tomine's graphic novel, follows Ben Tanaka (played by Min), an aspiring filmmaker from Berkeley, CA, navigating the life of a young Asian-American. Notably, the film marks the directorial debut of the incredible Randall Park.

We had the privilege of hosting one of the first events to bring the cast and crew together for a Shortcomings panel back in January at Sundance Film Festival 2023, where we discussed the impact of the source material's continued relevance and the representation of complex Asian characters on screen. As we support the film and its creative team, both in front and behind the camera, we're reminded of the journey that led to this significant moment.
