Approximately 50 athletes arrived early in Kingston prior to Sail Canada 2023 Youth and ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 Senior Championhips to take part in a ILCA Talent ID Camp July 31 to August 2.

The sailors, coming from across Canada, took advantage of the tips provided by guest expert Steve Mitchell, a distinguished figure in the world of sailing, renowned for his exceptional expertise as Olympic sailor, World Champion, and revered coach. They were joined by by Chris Hewson, Ontario Sailing Team Coach, Violet Stafford, Ontario Sailing Training Centre Development Coach, and Kyle Martin, Sail Canada National Training Centre Coach.

Environ 50 athlètes sont arrivés plus tôt à Kingston avant le début des Championnats de la jeunesse et séniors en ILCA 6 et en ILCA 7 de Voile Canada pour participer à un camp d'identification de talent en ILCA du 31 juillet au 2 août.

Les athlètes, venant de partout au Canada, ont profité des conseils de l'invité spécial Steve Mitchell, une figure distinguée dans le monde de la voile et reconnue pour son expertise exceptionnelle en tant qu'athlète olympique, champion du monde et entraîneur vénéré. Ils étaient joints par Chris Hewson, entraîneur de l'équipe d'Ontario Sailing, Violet Stafford, entraîneur de développement au centre d'entraînement d'Ontario Sailing, et Kyle Martin, entraîneur au centre d'entraînement national de Voile Canada.
