What happens when what you love to do becomes a chore? When what you used to love doesn't excite you anymore? 

Usually you find yourself on a slow road to neglect. Which leads to unintended consequences. 

Good thing Kurt, our August #IAM, is actively working on what he loves so that what he loves doesn't turn into a chore or tedious obligation. 

Years ago, Kurt found a lifestyle he enjoyed and felt passionate about. But over time, maintaining that lifestyle became more about checking boxes than fulfillment. 

Anything lacking in passion begins to feel stale. And so, Kurt slowly chose to neglect core aspects of his lifestyle. 

This resulted, over time, in some harsh realities for him. He knew what he was facing was self-induced. He took action. 

 "It took me a little while, but I sought out individual help from the coaches and support from the community. I look forward to working out again and it's fun," Kurt says. 

Sometimes fun takes a little nurturing, a little strengthening. 

Do you relate to Kurt? Perhaps there's something in your life that used to feel both exciting and fulfilling but now feels more like a boring chore. 

Wherever you find yourself, recognize your role in that place. You get to choose what happens next. 

Kurt chose fulfillment. He chose diligence to make choices that would support a once-again fulfilling lifestyle.
