## Caption

(Part 3 / 4) Madalitso’s case was referred to us by one of our partners, buildOn. After a full assessment including home visits, interviews, and academic performance reviews, Madalitso was accepted into The Sonder Project’s 'Education is Power' program. 

When he found out that he was selected, Madalitso reflected, “It was the happiest day of my life.  For the first time in a long while, I felt hope.  It changed the whole course of my life.” Madalitso added that his self-confidence has grown, and so has his motivation. He has since realized that his dreams are within his reach.
 
About The Sonder Project, Madalitso says, “Initially I thought The Sonder Project just pays school fees, but the fact that you know my home, and we are having this chat here at my house is everything to me.  Without The Sonder Project, I would be a dropout.  Before my sponsorship I was lost in worry and helplessness.  But when The Sonder Project came to my aid, I have had hope ever since.”
