William Douphrate's trumpet hadn’t seen the inside of Kyle Field since his last halftime drill in 1955.

This was until his grandson, Evan Douphrate ‘25, decided he too wanted to join the Nationally Famous Fightin' Texas Aggie Band and asked his grandfather if his old trumpet was still in commission!
