⁣
Ben Martin is from Bel Air, Maryland, and graduated from C. Milton Wright High School. His journey to the Academy began when his brother, Bradley, Class of 2019, chose to attend the Academy. He was there on his brother’s I-Day in 2015 and for each Parents’ Weekend. Ben grew to love the Academy as well and decided to make it his goal.⁣
⁣
“I knew I had to keep my grades excellent, be a leader and participate in great extracurricular and summer programs.”⁣
⁣
Ben was the captain of his high school football team, a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and a participant in the SAME STEM Construction Camp and the Maryland American Legion Boys State program. Like his brother, who is waiting to begin pilot training at Columbus AFB, Ben hopes to become a pilot.⁣
⁣
He said the moment he received his appointment was a mixture of “joy, accomplishment, and relief” that the hard work he put into earning his appointment had paid off. He wanted to thank the many mentors and supporters who helped him along the way. #2024 @benmartin38
