“As an artist, I work to develop paintings that speak to my emotions, and to the emotions of characters that I am introduced to thought my life, that relates to me. Whether  it be a fictional character from a book or a video game or a person who has had a significant influence on me. Part of my process is to just feel what I'm trying to portray as much as I can before I actually pick up a brush."
