The Portland Adult Soapbox Derby, possibly Portland’s biggest DIY event, returned to Mount Tabor Saturday for the 24th time.

The competition usually attracts between 7,000 and 10,000 spectators, requires over 150 volunteers and includes around 50 teams with five people each. It also features vendors, beer stations and food carts.
