Words by Pete McBride pedromcbride | After spending years traveling the world on assignment, I realized that the world’s natural places and rivers were changing drastically due to the disappearance of freshwater. The Rio Grande, for instance, has seen devastating impacts from climate change; today, its traditional flow is greatly diminished. The water crisis is a daunting and undeniably complex issue, but people can still make simple changes in their daily lives that collectively add up to help protect our most valuable resource. | FinishDishwashing created a monument that inspires us to protect water—our most valuable natural resource. You can make a difference, too, by pledging to #SkipTheRinse with Finish and save up to 20 gallons of water with every load of dishes.
