We had powerhouse participation in our recently released tribute video “Because You Sat, I Stand” celebrating the 100th birthday of Civil Rights activist, Clara Shepard Luper. Prairie Surf Media, sponsored by the John E. Kirkpatrick Partners Fund (kirkpatrickfdn), crafted this tribute in partnership with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, KOCO, The Freedom Center, and the Oklahoma History Center & Oklahoma Historical Society.  We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every individual that participated in honoring and celebrating Ms. Luper’s lasting legacy. 

The tribute video “Because You Sat, I Stand,” which premiered at Ms. Luper’s centennial concert, can now be viewed in its entirety in our reels.
