This past weekend, some of our crew and a loyal customer took on Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 48 at 14,505 feet in elevation.

Summiting a 14,000-foot mountain, often referred to as a 14'er, presents a challenging and arduous journey for even the most experienced hikers and mountaineers. 

The altitude alone poses one of the greatest hardships, as climbers must endure thinning oxygen levels that can lead to altitude sickness and fatigue. As they ascend higher, breathing becomes more labored, and every step demands extra effort. 

The lack of oxygen also impacts decision-making and cognitive function, making it essential for climbers to be cautious and mindful of their every step.

The moment your focus wavers, the risks on Mount Whitney escalate, spanning from a sprained ankle to a catastrophic and fatal fall.

Thankfully, our group was able to overcome these adversities and safely make it to the summit. 🙌

They did that by putting one foot in front of the other… and repeated that over and over and over again. 

Which is no different than any other goal in life…

It may seem like a huge mountain in front of you that’s impossible to climb… 

But it all starts with one step at a time ... one day at a time.

Winning the day… then the month… then the year.

Before you know it, you’re at the summit looking at the next big ass mountain to climb.
