More than ever fossil fuel companies are trying to convince the public they’re changing, but a new Greenpeace CEE report shows they’re still doing exactly the same as they’ve always done, with no plan to change.⁣
⁣
Big Oil took in record profits last year, mostly paid out to shareholders. According to a Greenpeace CEE report, of their investments, a massive 92.7% went straight back into more oil and gas, further fuelling turbo-changing extreme weather events, like the floods and heatwaves we’ve all seen in recent months.⁣

It’s time that governments:⁣
➡️ Strictly regulate fossil fuel companies⁣
➡️ Phase out oil, gas and coal across Europe⁣
➡️ Hold them accountable for their crimes against people and nature⁣
